Students and staff are provided a daily Bible passage, as well as commentary from Oswald Chamber's, My Utmost for His Highest.
In this course, students utilize their knowledge of computer applications to deliver a business idea in a professional "pitch," by means of a student-led live, virtual presentation of their business in order to seek investor commitment.
This course covers all of the major tenets of the Christian faith, both historical and contemporary in an analysis of major themes such as: the definition of “Christian," Christian diversity, baptism, communion, and other topics.
In this course, students further their mastery of the keyboard by improving upon accuracy and speed through a variety of drills and assessments.
Students further explore and master common computer applications for use in office, education, and business environments including, but not limited to word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software applications. Students also explore the use of website design templates for business application.

This course is a survey of the Hebrew Bible from Genesis to Malachi. Students learn the composition, authorship, historical context, literary and theological content of the Old Testament as well as the study of major themes such as the revelation of Jesus Christ in the Old Testament scriptures.
Students learn the elementary principals of keyboard typing, practicing them to improve mastery of speed and accuracy.
In this course, students learn basic computer applications in word, spreadsheet, and presentation processing. Students also explore the structure and navigation of the internet, email, websites, domains, browsers, and internet safety.

This supplement is part of the Earth Science course offered at Calvary Online School. The majority of the course is hosted through the Apex Learning curriculum, however this supplemental component is designed to address particular concepts within Earth Science as they relate to a Biblical World View.
This course is a a survey of the New Testament scriptures from The Gospel According to Matthew to The Apocalypse of John. Students learn the composition, authorship, historical context, literary and theological content of the New Testament as well as the study of major themes.
This is a beginning hands-on introduction to using HyperText Mark-Up Language (HTML) to create web pages, which can be uploaded and displayed on the World Wide Web. Students will use HTML to create web pages with text in various sizes and colors, links to other sites, background color or patterns, graphics, tables and mailto links. Principles of design and color, as they apply to screen presentations, will be included. The course introduces the student to HTML and Extensible HyperText Markup Language (XHTML) source code needed to create web pages. Discussion of copyright and universal accessibility issues, plus design and color concepts will be presented.
Virtual lab activities and supplementary materials for the Biology classes.
Students receive credit for external musical instrument and or voice performance lessons. Hours from the lesson instructor are documented for course credit.

This course is a study of the people of God, beginning with the Israelite election, through the grafting in of the Gentiles, and the worldwide spread of the church through the ages into the modern era. In addition to the traditional emphasis on European church history, the course gives ample attention to the spread of the church in other regions of the world, both historically and contemporary. This course is divided into two semesters: the first spanning the election of Israel through the late medieval church just prior to the early reformers, and the second spanning from the early reformers to the modern, world-wide, church.

This course is a study of major world religions including Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, and Islam as well as emerging world views such as secular humanism, agnosticism, and atheism. Students study universal themes such as suffering, evil, morality, concepts of deity, and the afterlife.
In this course, students read a daily selection of scripture from the New Testament. They then consider the passage in light of several topics of response, and formulate a paragraph response for each topical response to the daily passage. These two daily paragraphs are posted to a forum for grading. In addition, students combine their topical responses into a final, cumulative reflection paper where they discuss the various topics of study and reflect upon their learning. Topics of response include, but are not limited to: theological approach, historical approach, spiritual living approach, relevance to today approach, among other topics.
